Hello there! After a few decades of avoiding it, I have finally decided to create a site where I can post my thoughts about this, that, and the other.

Who Am I?

My name is Hysun Chung. You can find my professional bio on LinkedIn. I’m also @azmaveth on X/Twitter. I’m not particularly active on either platform, as I generally dislike social media. But I’m trying to do better.

Why Am I Doing This?

I have been teaching and mentoring over the last few years, but I wanted another channel I could use to give back to the communities that have helped me grow so much over the course of my career. I can’t promise I’ll keep it up, but I’m trying to give it a fair chance. Like I said, I generally dislike social media and resist putting too much of myself out in public.

What Can You Expect?

I am a Christian, husband, dad, hacker, developer, and teacher. I am currently very into AI/LLMs, philosophy, and self-improvement. I will likely write about all of these topics at some point or another. I have dozens of ideas rolling around in my head at any given point in time, so I’ll try to post each one as soon as they reach critical mass and I actually have questions that I want to ask or something that I consider to be thought-provoking in some way.
